2007/2008 - Under 10s Match Reports

The new season arrived early this season and following our promotion last season, we are now in the Under 10s B division.

We started off the season with a difficult match at home to Ramsey. Jamie was captain today and we kicked off. We started very well with some great passing between Jamie, Joe, Grace and Jon. A couple of dribbling runs by Jon could have resulted in goals but the defenders got back just in time.

 Defensively we were very solid with Seb and Matt doing well to stop the Ramsey forwards, and Lewis almost scored from a free-kick on halfway!

We were very unlucky to go a goal down to a deflected shot, but we kept going and got a deserved equaliser from Jamie.

The second half was a feast of football. James and Jordan came very close to putting us in front, and we hit the post 3 times in about 5 minutes. At the other end, Lewis made a couple of very good saves to keep us in the game.

A hugely enjoyable first game of the season. Man of the match this week went to Joe for all his hard work in midfield and his fantastic ball through to Jordan (with his right foot!).
